Montessori Kids was founded in 1999 by Laurence Randoux and Marc Ciepers, both Montessori teachers.  It was in September 1999 that the school welcomed its first pupil, aged 2 years, into its then one and only class.  Three years later, there were 10 more pupils, enabling us to end the school year with 11 pupils directed by two teachers.

The following school year, the decision was taken to extend the school, which consisted of a class for children aged 18 months to 3 years, and a class for children aged 3 to 6 years.  It was in 2001 that an extension to the existing building was made in order to have two more classes, one at primary level and a second class for children aged 3 to 6 years.

At this moment in time, we have around 100 children aged between 18 months and 12 years divided between 4 classes looking out onto a vast garden. 

Laurence Randoux and Marc Ciepers, founders and directors of the school, take great pleasure to welcome into their establishment each day teachers, parents and children, all united in a family atmosphere, serene and didactic.
